Christmas is only 6 days away and this jumpsuit from Dillard’s is so festive. It is the perfect holiday party look for a cold night. Throw on an oversized faux fur jacket and you will definitely stand out in a crowd.
Christmas party season is in full swing, so I thought I would share one of my favorite party looks. I paired this cozy sweater with a full tulle skirt for a head to toe winter white look. Light gold glitter heals and a bright red lip finish off the look for party perfection.
I stumbled upon this dress the other day when I went down an Instagram rabbit hole. I am sure you are all familiar with what I’m talking about: one picture leads to another and then another. However, it led to this Shop Stevie dress, so rabbit holes do pay off.
I’m calling this the perfect winter dress for many reasons: the winter floral print, the midi length, the long sleeves, and it has pockets. Every dress is better with pockets. The best part … it was only $38. This print is currently sold out, but they have many more fabulous florals and other prints perfect for winter.
Hi, my name is Sara and I am addicted to being a blonde! I think it stems from the fact that I was a fair haired child. I remember when my hair started getting darker in high school, I didn’t wait long to keep my blonde locks going. It has gotten to the point where the lighter, the better! So when I saw this Vegan leather jacket by BRUNETTE The Label, I felt like it was meant to be. 🙂 For all my brunette friends out there, don’t worry, they have an adorable Brunette version of the jacket, too!
The color of this dress has many names: emerald, forest, sherwood and (I’m sure) many more. Whatever you like to call it, I think it is a fabulous color for fall. It’s rich tones work with many colors as evidenced by how I styled it below. I grounded the look with these gorgeous gray suede over-the-knee boots by Goodnight Macaroon, which pulls out the gray tones in the scarf. Get full outfit details below.
There is something about a monochromatic look that makes me feel incredibly svelt. I started this day out in a completely different pair of pants that just weren’t doing it for me. So, I stopped in at Madewell on my lunch hour and picked up these 9″ high rise skinny jeans. I now have two pairs on these jeans and they are quickly becoming my favorite.
“This is a man’s world
But it would be nothing, nothing
Without a woman or a girl”
One of the luxuries of being a woman is that we get to borrow from the men. This includes in the fashion world as well. What I like most about the look below is the masculine feel with the ultra-feminine touches. I mean, it doesn’t get any more girly than leopard print and a glittery broach. I felt like a total girl boss in this look.
How do you like to incorporate menswear inspired pieces into your wardrobe? Let me know in the comments below.

I love stacking jewelry: bracelets, rings, or necklaces. I don’t discriminate, the more the merrier! So I’m super excited to share with you these adorable leather and crystal wrap bracelets from Boho Betty USA. One bracelet wraps many times, so it’s like three bracelets in one.

Every season I pick a color and it begins to permeate every bit of my wardrobe. For the last four years, my go-to color has been this rich berry tone. So when I saw this blanket scarf, I knew I had to have it for fall.
If you love big cozy blanket scarfs as much as I do, then you should check out ilymix. They have an amazing selection in a variety of fall colors. Use code “affair20” at checkout to save on 20% on all your fall accessories.
As promised, here is Day 2 of my San Francisco wall crawl, inspired by Studio DIY. There were two walls that I couldn’t find on their guide, but I found a few more that weren’t included. I hope you all have enjoyed following along on my adventure.
449 Octavia Street
On the side of the bakery Miette is the prettiest pink wall you ever did see.
22nd St + 106 Ames Alley
Stop and smell the poppies.
112 Ames Alley
I think this might have been my favorite mural of this day. Being from Texas, the Armadillo is our state animal and I loved this psychedelic looking version.
1231 Valencia Street
This lovely mural is on the side of Horace Mann Middle School and is one of the murals not included on the Studio DIY post, but I loved the vibrant colors on it.
3316 23rd St
This mural is on the side of a wall greens and is massive. It is a shame that part of it has been tagged with graffiti, but there is still plenty to see.
3297 24th Street
Murals murals everywhere. You will find this beauty on the side of a McDonald’s.
1575 15th Street
The last stop of the wall crawl and one of my favorites was the ocean themed one. I thought it would be so fun to blow bubbles in from of this wall and it turns out I’m a horrible bubble blower, but I still love how I envisioned this looking! 🙂
That concludes my San Francisco Wall Crawl. The next wall crawl on my agenda is Nashville! I hope to plan a trip there soon and share with you all my adventures.
